Delta Children 2016 Year In Review

Dear Delta Children Family,

As our company approaches its 50th year, there is so much to reflect on and even more to be grateful for. Through 50 years, we have grown from a small retail shop in Brooklyn, NY to the world’s leading children’s product manufacturer. However, these 50 years have been about much more than that; this half-century has truly been about family.


It’s been about your family. Our customers who grew up in our cribs are now raising their own babies and even grandbabies in Delta nurseries. Your families have grown with us, just as we’ve grown with you. We can’t thank you enough for bringing us into your families and trusting us with your infants, toddlers, and children through their most vulnerable phases of life. We don’t take this responsibility lightly, and are as motivated and devoted now as we’ve always been to find the newest and greatest developments in child safety.


It’s also been about our family. Since the birth of Delta Children, we’ve raised our own babies and grandbabies and are now in our 2nd and 3rd generation of family leadership. The value of family is never lost on us, which is why in recent years we’ve expanded our product catalog to include items for kids of every age and varieties for families of every background. We’ve introduced a family of brands including Simmons Kids, Serta, Jeep, Nickelodeon, Disney, and many more to ensure that families of every kind can find exactly what they are looking for.


Most importantly, though, it’s been about families in need. Since the start, our company has been committed to one mission: finding a safe place for every baby to sleep. We formalized these efforts in 2012 by establishing The Delta Safe Sleep Campaign: a nationwide movement to educate parents on the importance of creating safe sleep conditions for their children, backed by a commitment to donate products to families in need. Since the foundation, we’ve contributed over $3 million of product and monetary donations to disadvantaged families and delivered countless potentially life-saving safe sleep presentations to educate families around the country. From military bases to homeless shelters nationwide, we are honored to touch the lives of the families we’ve met, however they will never know the impact each and every one of them has on us. Each story we hear and every family we meet reminds us everyday what and whom we do this for. These families are our motivation and their babies are our future. We’re looking forward to a busy 2017, with many more presentations and donations already planned!


2016 has been an exciting year for us. We opened a brand new state-of-the-art warehouse in California to support more efficient shipping methods. We’ve made great strides in optimizing our website,, in an effort to make a seamless browsing experience for our costumers – and launched an all-new mobile site! We’ve also expanded our social media presence to reach parents everywhere. If you don’t already, be sure to follow us on all of our channels (Instagram | Facebook | Twitter | Pinterest) to make sure you’re the first to hear about the latest in child safety, new products, and exciting giveaways. We’re thrilled to announce our Facebook hit 100k likes this year! It’s also been a fun year for giveaways, as we recently announced the winner of our biggest prize yet: an entire nursery collection! We’ve launched innovative and trendsetting new products and have produced numerous helpful videos to ensure our products can be assembled quickly and by the safest means possible. Thanks to our customers and employees, 2016 was full of great achievements and amazing work—it has truly become a year to remember.
